This is a recipe I got from the Hammer & Chisel nutrition guide, made for dinner tonight and it was a big hit, it's a great alternative to just using bread crumbs. Almond Crusted Chicken 4 - 4oz Chicken Breasts (thin or pounded thin) 1/2 Cup Almond Flour 2 Cloves Garlic 1 1/2 tsp of lemon zest (don't skip this) 1/4 tsp Sea salt 1/4 tsp Black Pepper 1 large egg 1/4 Cup Water 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil • Preheat oven to 425 • Combine almond flour, garlic, lemon peel (zest) salt & pepper , set aside • Combine egg & water • Dip each chicken breast in egg mixture then into almond flour , coating evenly • Heating oil in pan, cook each breast about 3 min each side • Move to baking sheet and finish in oven, bake for 10-12 min
1 green, 1 red, 1/2 orange, and 1 tsp.
