Since 21 Day Fix & Fix Extreme are programs where you are aiming to eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours (5-6 times per day) you need to have some go to snacks!
Here is a list of some of my favorites:
Cottage cheese w/ 1/2 cup berries = ( 1 RED & 1/2 PURPLE )
Edamame, shelled w/ Sea Salt = (1 YELLOW)
Homemade Apple Chips (recipe here) = (1 PURPLE)
Greek Yogurt w/ 1/2 cup berries & a drizzle of honey = (1 RED, 1/2 PURPLE, 1 tsp (Sweetener )
1/4 of an avocado on 1 slice of toasted clean bread. Sprinkle with kosher salt, ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes = ( 1 BLUE & 1 YELLOW )
One 2 % mozzarella cheese stick & 1 Cup Fruit = (1 BLUE & 1 PURPLE)
2 Hardboiled eggs = ( 1 RED)
Cucumber & tomato salad (recipe here) = (1 GREEN, 1 tsp)
1 Apple & 14 Unsalted Almonds = (1 PURPLE & 1 BLUE)
Celery & Peanut Butter = (1 PURPLE & 2 tsp)
2 plain unsalted brown rice cakes with 1-2 tbsp all natural peanut butter = (1 YELLOW & 2 tsp)
Veggies and hummus = (1 GREEN, 1 BLUE)
Shakeology = (1 RED)
Egg & Turkey Cups (recipe here) = (1 RED)
1 Whole Grain Tortilla w/1 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter & 1/2 Banana Sliced - roll up and ENJOY! = (1 YELLOW, 1 PURPLE & 3 tsp )
Egg white scramble with spinach & a sprinkle of cheese = (1 RED, 1 GREEN, 1/2 BLUE )
Veggies & guacamole = (1 GREEN, 1 BLUE)
Whole grain tortilla cut into chips & toasted w/ hummus = (1 YELLOW, 1 BLUE)
1/2 Banana - (5 Reasons to Bite Into a Banana) = (1 PURPLE)
Veggies with homemade tzatziki yogurt sauce (recipe here) = ( 1 GREEN for Veggies 1/2 GREEN & 1 RED for Sauce)
Air popped popcorn - 3 Cups = (1 YELLOW)
